About the venue
Theatre by QE2 is located on the iconic QE2 - the famous and beautiful luxurous ocean liner.Launched in 1969, the interior of the QE2 varies from areas that have been preserved from the QE2’s sailing days to areas, like the Theatre, Speakeasy Lounge and Pub, which have now been refurbished and renovated. The QE2 now operates as a floating entertainment centre with hotel rooms. Theatre by QE2 is one of only a handful of fully licensed theatre venues in Dubai - and features a full AV system and LED screen, all available to hire. Theatre by QE2 offers an “old style” feeling to the theatre and has raked seats in front of the stage (367) and tiered seats in the upstairs balcony (136). It is suitable for a wide range of live events, including concerts, dance performances, theatre shows, stand up comedy and businness conferences. In total there are 503 seats. Operated by Outside The Box Events, the theatre is programmed to host a variety of events - fordiverse cultures and genres and communities.
